Static Elimination Division

NV Tools produce Static Eliminators for industrial applications. They are used to neutralise static charges during the handling and processing of sheets or webs of material, mainly in textiles, plastics, converting and printing. They play a vital role in maximising production, reducing waste and improving safety.

With 37 years experience in static elimination we are able to supply, from our factory in Brentwood, a complete and competent service, specifying and supplying bespoke solutions to your Electro-Static problems. Static Elimination Products

Static Charge Meter

An essential tool in the battle against static electricity, providing accurate analysis of static problems. Easy to use, the meter can be used to indicate the most beneficial sites for situating static eliminators. Also a useful device for verifying the efficiency of your static elimination products.

Static Dissipative Brushes

For neutralising static charges on flat surfaces. Can be fixed permanently to production equipment, ensuring constant "grounding" of static charge. Manufactured to customer's specific requirements.

Static Elimination Bars

Generally used in sheet production (textiles, paper, plastic, film etc). Where they can be permanently fixed to production equipment parallel to the material to be affected. Conventional Capacitive type bars and newer technology Resistive type bars (3 to 4 times more effective) are manufactured to customer's specific requirements.

Ionflow Static Elimination Blowers

Designed to offer maximum flexibility for coverage in large work area applications. Particularly suited to 3-dimensional applications, such as larger moulded parts etc.

Static Eliminating Ioncell

Particularly useful for single point elimination, the separation and collation of thin sheet material (e.g. paper). Conventional Capacitive type and newer technology Resistive type (3 to 4 times more effective) are manufactured to the customer's specific requirements.

Static Eliminating Iongun

For use in areas where the elimination of static charge and attracted debris are required. Particularly useful in the pre-finishing areas of larger moulded part manufacture. Has been specifically manufactured to withstand the rigours of busy production line environments.

Transformers

Convert standard line voltage to high secondary output, enabling Static Eliminating Equipment to ionise air by high voltage discharge.

Each transformer has two output terminals and depending on the application requirements, 2/3/4 way connectors can be supplied to power additional bars.

Transformers have vacuum impregnated windings for improved insulation quality thereby giving more resistance to electrical supply surges.

AC dual-phase transformers are now available as an option for processing webs at speeds up to 366m/min, compared with 140mpm maximum for conventional AC single phase units.
